Using social media to learn and connect is the future but are you using social media to enhance your career, continue your development and provide value to you organization?
In today’s digitized economy, the expectations placed on you and your teams are many. You are expected to know the latest learning trends. You are expected to be able to provide strategic direction on the way forward. You are expected to have your finger on the pulse. Why Google? Results are not always great, the links may be out of date and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) used by Google may not provide you with the best results.
The world is definitely a smaller place and your ability to identify and interact with fellow professionals and locate the most up to date approach, report or resource is now a reality.
Today’s L&D practitioner needs to embrace the new world so come along and be prepared to get social! The workshop is interactive and introduces you to a range of social media and on-line tools that you can use daily.

The importance of a Personal Learning Network (PLN) and how you can develop your own.
- Introduce you to Twitter, Tweetchats and Storify – the most powerful personal learning tools you will need to connect and expand your PLN.
- LinkedIn and About.me – establishing “your brand” and connecting with other professionals and groups.
- Curation – What is it and how can tools such as Scoop It can help you?
