Designed by L&D Professionals
just like you

Last year Rustica Lamb noticed that learning and development professionals were having a hard time keeping up with the latest technology and trends.

The solution was simple, she decided to create a workshop event where they could have a play with new tech and learn hands-on and eLab was born.

The first eLab workshop was in 2016 which saw a group of 50 come together in Auckland. It was a runaway success with L&D practitioners learning low cost and free tools to help them create engaging elearning. eLab is now a yearly event on the calendar in New Zealand and due to its success we are introducing it to Australia.

Rustica and her team continually scan learning and development trends and technologies globally to ensure they bring the latest in technology to the eLearnz events. We also like to have fun, so there’s plenty of competitions with great prizes.

eLearnz eLab will be a 2 day workshop held 8th & 9th August in Sydney. This will be an opportunity for Australian learning and development professionals to come together to see the latest in digital learning trends and learn hands-on from international thought leaders. Of course there will also be plenty of ideas and discussion as well as plenty of fun and networking to be had!

eLab has been organised by the awesome Bloom team.

ELEARNZ ELAB SYDNEY

29th & 30th August 2017

We are the Ones

That’s our theme, We are the ones, as in The Matrix. Ticket prices are affordable thanks to some awesome sponsors (could that be you?)

Join us for eLab – you’ll be hands-on with the very latest in technology and trends. Get ready to learn, be inspired and have fun.

Venue: 60 Margaret Street, Sydney

eLab is themed ‘we are the ones’. We are the ones to impact business performance and growth, the ones to use technology to increase staff productivity, and we are the ones who can advise the business whether training is or isn’t the right solution for their people problems. We are the ones who should be trusted advisors not order takers.

Trends move so quickly in this digital age. Learning and development professionals must keep up-to-date and informed with the latest technology and techniques or risk being left behind. eLab is 2 days of mini workshops with the focus on the latest in digital learning trends, technology and design. You will learn hands-on from respected global and local leaders during which you will actively create digital learning items. You will go away with up-to-date training methods that you can put into practice immediately back at your organisation and pass along to your team.

We will celebrate success with the best learning piece winning an iPad Mini!

So if you are a learning and development professional interested in keeping up with the latest, this is the workshop for you!

Don’t miss the most exciting L&D event of 2017 for inspiration and skill building to grow your own career.

Workshop Programme

Master of Ceremonies: Nigel Paine

Moving from Creation to Curation and Why you Should – presented by International Keynote Speaker Nigel Paine.

In a world inundated with information and even with structured learning materials, rushing to create new product is not always the most effective solution. So this workshop will take you from talking about Curation to actually developing a personal strategy for implementing a curation strategy. From thinking about Curation to actually having a go! And from random acts of curation to some kind of systematic and strategic policy that you can follow yourself or share with your organisation.  Bring a laptop or an iPad as we are really going to get stuck in!
